FAQ

Where is my download?

After you complete the paypal checkout process, paypal will offer an option to "Return to Merchant". You must click on that in order to be returned to our website where it has the link to download your purchase.

If for some reason you did not click on "Return to Merchant" from paypal you will have to manually go back to our website, login to your account (if not already logged in) and go to your User Account. There you will see the "Files" tab which contains the links for your downloads as well as the "Ordered Products" and "Orders" tabs which allow you to see the status of any order.

Why don't I see the hymn I am looking for?

Not all hymns arrange nicely at the intermediate level for guitar. As for other hymns, I have either not gotten around to them yet or I do not know them. You may contact me with suggestions for future arrangements, but no guarantees.

Why are some songs missing tutorial videos?

The video tutorial project began about 15 years after I started my website to share my hymn arrangements. I hope to make tutorial videos for each hymn, but that is very time consuming and I haven't achieved that yet.

Why are there so few contemporary hymns on your website and why do you charge a fee for them?

Most hymns written in the 20th and 21st centuries are under copyright protection. It is illegal to share arrangements of copyrighted material without permission from the publisher. That permission costs money and involves royalty payments from me to the publisher, which is why I charge a fee for certain hymns. So far, I only have contractual permission from Oregon Catholic Press to share my arrangements of hymns in their catalog.

Since I paid for my copy, can I share it with others?

<p>Not legally. Each hymn arrangement I sell comes with a READ ME file that states: "This is an OCP copyrighted hymn and approved for publication, sale and distribution by Jim Nailon. You (the buyer) can use this for personal use only and must obtain a reprint license from OCP for duplicating copies for use within your church ministry."</p>

How do I create an account?

Click on the "Login" link on the top right of the website. Then click the "I want to create an account" option and enter your desired Username, your email, desired password and click the Captcha "I'm not a robot" field followed by the "Create New Account" button on the bottom.

After this, your account will be created but not verified. To verify your account, please complete the process by visiting your email and clicking the Verify link. Accounts that are not verified will be auto deleted after a certain amount of time in order to ensure our customer's security and to prevent spam bots from accessing our site. Please make sure you verify your account after you create the account. NOTE: If you complete a purchase, the account will automatically be verified.

I forgot my password, how do I login?

For your own security, we do not know your password and have no access to it. If you forgot your password, you will have to reset it yourself by Requesting a New Password.

This will send an email to the email on file for that account with a one-time clickable link that will take you to a reset password page.

Do you accept credit cards?

Yes. We use Paypal as our payment processor and you can pay with Paypal and/or with Credit Card.

I don't have a paypal account and don't want to create one, can I still make a purchase?

You do not need a Paypal account to checkout. When taken to Paypal to complete your purchase, you can enter your creditcard details directly without having to login or create a paypal account. If you have a paypal account, you will have the option to login to your paypal account to complete the purchase but is optional.
